The one I have now is definitely the favorite! I make and sell jewelry for an artist co-op
I spent my whole career at Dow Corning and Dow Chemical (31 years) starting while still in high school. I had varied jobs during that time.
Filing, key punching, coding samples, proofreading literature and advertising, working with our ad agencies and printers, the Audio Visual Department, University Relations, various product departments, supply chain, marketing, TS&D...
They kinda run together in my mind....some of the time spent at the mercy of not very appreciatve and some downright abusive people intent on "going places" and some spent with people I still see to this day, though we've not worked together for years...
I don't miss corporate life at all. My retirement job is much more suited to me....

My favorite job was my last one, I was the travel manager for a mid-sized software company. The people I worked with were great, the management team was supportive, the working environment was unbelievably good and the compensation was terrific. It was a sad day when they got bought out and the new owners changed everything.

actually, what i do now is probably the best job i've had. i get paid very fairly and i like what i do. it's been kind of crummy the last year or so, but that will change next year with some new projects.
however, the job i am most looking forward to is one that i hope i get in the next 2-3 years and that is a stay-at-home-mommy.

My first job was at the Arctic Circle....basic fast food crap. I did like it because a lot of my friends worked there.....got me through HS with pocket money!
My other jobs were:
1. Secretary/Data Entry....which I hated, however, it did establish the great respect that I have for anyone who does that kind of work. I was always very kind and generous to our administrative assistants!
2. Police Officer.....which I totally and completely loved until the last few years. Making rank sort of sucks the fun out of the job and puts it in a political arena.
3. Bail Bond Agent.....good money.....but that's about it.
4. Motorclothes Retail Sales for Harley-Davidson....by far the FUNNEST job I've ever had. Great store to work for, great co-workers, awesome boss....mediocre money.....
My FAVORITE.....the first fifteen years of the cop job.....

I have had many varied jobs starting with baby sitting in high school.
I used to baby sit for a family that had 7 boys under the age of 8
for 50 cent a hour
Also managed the hosiery department at big department store ---actually I did that twice in 2 different towns at different stores, managed a gift shop, worked as a coder for a company that did political surveys, registered bridal consultant, lunch lady at school (did everything from served food to bookkeeper), day care worker at 4 different day cares, and Mother.
Guess the best job was bridal consultant---the girls were so happy and sooooooooooo in love---untl the wedding got closer and then the hated EVERYTHING.

I didn't get paid for it, but being A volunteer firefighter and underwater search and rescue diver. Was in the department for twenty years until life got in the way and time became a luxury I didn't have and I had to leave the department. I still think about rejoining but it takes so much time. That hands down was the best "job" I have ever had.

at 14yo - Mcdonalds - didnt like it.
Since I was 15 - I joined the Commonwealth Government as a CSO level 1 (bottom of the ladder)
I am now a CSO6 - top of the ladder - I really didnt think I would make it - so I am pretty pleased!
But my favourite was Command Post Operator in the Royal Australian Artillery (7Fd Regt, 113 Fd Bty) - I was and to my knowledge still - the only female in Australia qualified in that job

My favorite? It's a toss up. I was a dental assistant for several years after college because other jobs were few and far between at that time. It was interesting and the best part was I didn't have to think about it after I went home. I think it's going to be my "post retirment" job since I doubt I'll be able to quit working altogether.
The other job that was fun and paid well was helping formulate fragrances The perfumer would come up with different formulas and I would mix them until she got the one she wanted. Great people there too, the only thing was you could end up smelling really funky by the end of the day.
What I do now pays well and provides a service people need but it's VERY stressful - but it's giving me a more solid retirement than I could have gotten elsewhere.

Mom and Grams are probably the best...
Teaching always put food on the table but my all time favorite was Bingo Coodinator. I talked people into going to OK from TX to play high stakes Indian Bingo. I got to go along and got free bingo cards. They actually paid me to gamble and I won a bunch of $$ during my 9 years working weekends.
Retirememnt is also very nice and I am working part-time for a textbook company training teachers.
