i think the 'pubs picked her so fey can return to SNL to play her in skits. "i'm not a vp candidate but i play one on tv"

They won't have to cry for long. IF McCain should be elected, he's already stated Romney would be on his short list for Secretary of the Treasury.
Romney is an epic jerk.
So you're glad he won't be the VEEP?
I'd be happy if I never had to see his smug face anywhere, ever.......but yes, I am glad he didn't get the nod........but it would have been fun watching him go down in flames. My personal experiences with him during the 2002 Olympics were not good.

I don't think you will see a Mormon elected to national office in our lifetime.
Which shows how narrow minded people can be.
If a person's religion is the ONLY reason a candidate can't garner votes, it shows total narrow mindedness. Same with a person's skin color or gender.
Me voting for McCain and NOT Obama is a matter of policy differences. Nothing more.
Not that McCain was my first choice-but I agree with him more so than Obama.
P.S.-you ARE right about one thing-Tina Fey IS hot. DAMN hot.

I dont care what religion our leaders are...so long as they leave that religion and the associated baggage outside of their offices each morning, and don't try to cram their beliefs down my throat.
I'm thinking she is a bit of a hottie. I'd pick her up if she was hitchhiking.
Other conservative candidates running include...
Alan Keyes - America's Independent Party - Wiley Drake is the VP candidate.
Charles Jay - Boston Tea Party - Chuck Baldwin is the VP candidate. This is an offshoot of the Libertarian party.
Bob Barr - Libertarian Party - Wayne Allyn Root is the VP candidate.
Gene Amondson - Prohibition Party - Leroy Pletten is the VP candidate. One issue party against parties. Boooo.
I will most likely be voting for Keyes. I enjoyed his input in the early debates and actually agree with him on a number of issues well at least more than I do the Left wing radical McCain.

..or use their religious beliefs as directionals toward relations with other countries,
some with radically different religious beliefs.
Frankly, this is a problem we have with our current moron, er, "head of state".

I'm sorry for anything bad that may have happened to you during what should've been happy times for your state, Paige.
Try not to dwell on it-he's out of the picture for now. Any cabinet posts or other elected position he may be aspiring to is just what I said earlier-RUMORS.
I'm sure, in the end, whatever is supposed to happen WILL happen.

see, there's an African-American on the ballot, ...but, I'm not voting for anyone named Wiley
Wile E. Coyote, Wiley Drake... they're all just too far out there
