That would be a very interesting choice.

Umm ... so why did you post a picture of Tina Fey?

I just read, too. A vagina is just what McCain needs, but it seems odd to pick a pro-life, anti-gay (but she has gay friends ) female VP when you need to get the "sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits" on your side who are still crying over the loss of Hillary.

She is conservative, no doubt about it, which I'm sure makes the registered "R"s quite happy.

When I did a google image search for Palin, that's what I got.

Fox News just confirmed it. It's her.

This means McCain still has a fighting chance.

Choosing Tom Ridge or Joe Liebermann (as much as I love both of them) would've guaranteed the election for the Messiah, Barack Obama, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

For what it's worth, NBC News just confirmed it.

Now a McCain/Fey ticket .... THAT I might consider.

Damn, I thought he had enough backbone to pick Ridge, and we'd finally have a ticket to appeal to those of us who dont live on the lunatic fringe of either side.

Oh well, at least I wont have to waste gas driving to the polls this year. .

That's the part I don't understand. Maybe it's just my naievity, but since McCain is the only "conservative" who is running, who exactly do the real conservatives think they would vote for, regardless of who McCain's running mate is? Seems like McCain has the "R" vote wrapped up any way by default and needs the moderate vote.

McCain turns 72 years old today. That will make him 80 at the end of two terms. There's no way he can last that long (all his fake body parts will melt because of global warming before then).

I don't give a G.D. if McCain is 172 years old, I wont vote for the Marxist/Socialist candidate, the Messiah, Barack Obama, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, no matter HOW good looking he is. (After all, that IS all that matters, right? And, of course, he has a "D" after his name and will "tax the rich(?)

Anyway, the first choice of THIS conservative was Fred Thompson, and Mitt Romney my second choice.

And I see Professor Olbermann is wasting no time getting his henchmen shovels to dig up dirt on this governor who, apparently, nobody's ever heard of.

P.S.-Global warming is a HOAX. 8)

They won't have to cry for long. IF McCain should be elected, he's already stated Romney would be on his short list for Secretary of the Treasury.

That's Tina Fey!!!
..and I would bet you that, unless she absolutely wows 'em in the Twin Cities,
that McCain has made a politically fatal mistake in going for this unknown.
