Hear Nadirah Shakoor's CD on MailboatRecords site!

Post by Soulsingah »

Well my friends the an official release date for "Nod to the Storyteller" is October 14, 2008!

You may now listen to samples of the entire CD on MailboatRecords.com .

I must say that I am very proud of this particular collection of songs. Mr Buffett gave me the twinkling of the eyes smile after he listened (whew!) and I hope you all feel the same especially since you helped choose the music.

We will be celebrating the release at my Las Vegas Margaritaville show Friday October 24th, 2008 from 9pm until and of course you are all invited.

Again thank you all for showing so much Love and Support. See You in Vegas!

Love,

Nadirah

Who knew there would be so many little details to tend to? The art work has been the most time consuming. What do you think of the cover?

I must say that I am very proud of this particular collection of songs. Mr Buffett gave me the twinkling of the eyes smile after he listened (whew!) and I hope you all feel the same especially since you helped choose the music.

We will be celebrating the release at my Las Vegas Margaritaville show Friday October 24th, 2008 from 9pm until and of course you are all invited.

I have added snippets of some of the songs on my page at MeetthePhlockers.com I don't think I can do that here on Buffett News so please check it out.

Again thank you all for showing so much Love and Support.

Sincerely,

Nadirah
Here's a bigger pic of the cover...

VERY NICE!! :D Very visually pleasing, in an exciting yet comforting way.

I LOVE that twinkling of the eyes smile that Jimmy gives, and I really love that you'd mention it! :D I've been lucky / happy to see a couple shows up close and personal this year, and one of my favorite parts is getting to see his facial expressions and body language SHOUT his appreciation and admiration for you, when you're featured on Making Music for Money, War is Over, and such!! It's kind of hard to describe, kind of hard to explain, but REALLY COOL to see (and feel)!

I'm accepting your invitation   , and I cannot wait to see you again and help celebrate at the CD release celebration in Vegas on 10/24! I cannot wait! :D

I listened to and enjoyed the snippets on Meet the Phlockers! Thank you! I really really like 'Wonder Why We Ever Go Home'! Is that Mac on piano??

Congrats again, Nadirah! :D Not too much longer, now!

How exciting, for you and for us... your fans! :D

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
