not an "official" copy.. you could buy a VHS
and have one of those conversion services
copy it for you ( if they can)

It's coming out on DVD the same day as Coastal Confessions is.

I've got a copy. Unfortunately, it is trapped in my Comcast DVR, cause they won't let Motorola enable any outbound data ports. So, it sits there waiting for me to watch it from time to time. VH1 Classic replays it every so often in the Classic In Concert series.

Hello fellow Parrotheads .... just joined up specifically to discuss this topic - no, seriously.

Here's the deal -

1. I looked all over Jimmy's [Margaritaville] website and looked over what he has for sale on DVD, Videos, CD's... you name it. And, nowhere did I find..... LIVE BY THE BAY .....circa 1991.

I happen to have this Video recorded in Miami .... on laserdisc. Bought it for a solid $3.00 (for real)

It's a hoot to watch, every time - it never gets old. the only complaint I have is there's no [License To Chill] on it. LTC is my favourite Buffett tune and he never seems to play it.

We were just at the Indianapolis / Deer Creek / Verizon Wireless Music Center / Show. Sat in the middle in Row S. Awesome seats - only beef was two songs he didn't play.

    2. That's My Story
Otherwise - it was as outstanding as Jimmy ever gets. You can tell he enjoys playing here. He knows about all the Indiana-only Restaurants. I seriously don't think there's any Steak & Shakes anywhere else - much like there's no White Castles anywhere else.

I'm currently trying to convert my laserdisc of this Show onto DVD somehow - or at least onto hard disk, for copy later on. If I am successful in the near future, I can update you - see what can be done. If it is on DVD - Jimmy's not having it on his website...... not sure what that means. Maybe EBAY?
