Jimmy Buffett makes Vanity Fair 100 List

Jimmy Buffett made Vanity Fair's list of the world's 100 most powerful and influential people ("The New Establishment" - October 2008 issue). He comes in at number 97.

SPHERE OF INFLUENCE: In the past year, the hardest-working slacker in show business published his seventh book, Swine Not?, released a live-concert DVD, partnered in an Atlantic City casino, and continued the nonstop touring that keeps the margarita money flowing in—an estimated $35 million.
