Ms B wanted to go into space so badly....she applied for the Teacher in Space both times and made it to the finals both times......even with cancer, they thought about using her....
She was quite a woman.

So sad....

I wish they would have let her go into space. When you are only given 6 months to live, you should be given the chance to live life to the fullest.

How blessed the world was to have her for nine years beyond her diagnosis...

It may be because I am away from the school system right now, not having any kids of my own, but I feel like these great teachers are few and far between now-a-days. It's a sad day when such a great teacher is lost!
