Was somebody here? I couldn't help myself.alphabits wrote:A boring life? Nope. I fear having a non-meaningful life.
Maybe it has to do with being chronologically gifted but I'd hate to reach the end of the journey and turn around to discover that I'd left no footprints ..... no evidence that I'd passed this way
Do you fear having a boring life?

I have no life, so how could it be boring?

I agree!!!!Tiki Bar wrote:Some days, boring is better!I likes my lazy days!
This is pretty much what I tell my kids, grown kids that is when they complain about being bored. Boring is good from time to time! Where I work we sometimes have more excitement than one person should have, so I definately like my boring days.
And, I don't think my life is totally boring. Would I like to have some things I don't, that would make it more exciting? Sure! A nice new boat to go fishing farther out in the Gulf, or other toys to play with? You betcha!! But, I am content with what I have right now. We're healthy (but not wealthy) and that is all I can ask right now.

Speaking of being behind someone on the road of life ...
When I was walking to the office this morning there was a woman walking in front of me and she had a bounce in her step. Not to mention a nice booty. I walked behind her for 4 blocks admiring the view.

the question is, was that three blocks past your office, and you had to double back?LIPH wrote:Speaking of being behind someone on the road of life ...

No, it was from 39 St.-43rd St. I usually turn right to get from 7th Ave. to 6th at 47th St.RinglingRingling wrote:the question is, was that three blocks past your office, and you had to double back?LIPH wrote:Speaking of being behind someone on the road of life ...

I was on my way to the office. All I did was slow the pace down a little, it was very muggy this morning.Salukulady wrote:STALKER!LIPH wrote:Speaking of being behind someone on the road of life ...

Very good use of Thoreau there, reminded me of "Dead Poet's Society".SchoolGirlHeart wrote:The thought terrifies me..... Really.....
Because Thoreau said The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation and I don't wanna be one of them.
I'd rather have this said about me when I'm gone: “Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!”
I thank the Lord for the people I have found
