I've got a solid 49 but I am precluded from several since I am allergic to shellfish.

There are also about a dozen "no chances" on there. But a few I want to try.

What no Ackee & Saltfish?

Mmmhmmm....I've eaten fried chicken liver too many times to count....but I had never had it in an omelette before.

Hunting and Fishing: Spring fishing recommendation: Chicken liver great for catfish bait

Our method for catching loads of these fish is extremely simple. We fish from the bank and we use light tackle, usually spinning gear spooled with an eight- or 10-pound-test line. We tie on a light wire hook, put a few split-shot sinkers above that and wad a generous amount of chicken liver onto the hook.

The fresher and bloodier the liver is, the more the fish like it. I usually cut off a firm piece about the size of a silver dollar. We lob the setup as far out from the bank as we can throw it, place a few forked sticks in the ground, rest our rods in those sticks and lean back in lawn chairs to wait for the fish. A nice cooler of cold beer helps the waiting process significantly.

When a catfish decides to grab the chicken liver, it's easy to tell. I fish with just a little slack in my line, but when a fish bites, that slack will tighten and the rod will usually bend a good deal as the fish carries the liver away. I carefully pick the rod up and wait until I can feel the fish pulling the line. When the line gets tight, I set the hook and begin reeling

Never had Haggis.. but Chittlins are vile in taste, odor.. and their 'juice' once melted a hole in my carpet.

I've tried TWENTY of them........the other 80......no effin' way.

I have a very short list of meats I will eat........
guess I'm just not very food adventurous.......
