Taking a few moments to remember all of those who we lost on 9/11....WTC, The Pentagon, Shanksville. and to all of the first responders who worked so hard to save lives and the ordinary people who helped each other!!!!

Today is not only a day to remember those innocent lives that were lost in the planes, Pentagon and WTC, but those who have fought so valiantly for them and us since then.

Very touching and powerful, Christine.
She's definately left holes in the hearts of many.

I still get chills whenever I think about this day. I can only hope and pray that we never have to experience a day like this again.

It's hard to believe that 7 years have passed since that horrible day. A big thank you to all the people who helped me get through it. I was so lucky to get good news that day. I will always remember those that did not.........

I remember this day very well - like the rest of us. It was a beautiful day here in Pittsburgh...I also remember hearing about the Shanksville plane, rumor was at first on our stations it was coming towards Pittsburgh.

Where I worked we were direct flight pattern for take off at the airport.

I'll never forget....

I had just joined BN a few days before and was worried about all my new friends.

It was my first day in a new job at work.....and I stood in a conference room watching the horor with a bunch of strangers....

Remembering my friends in the Pentagon.... those who survived and those who did not.... especially my friends and shipmates in the Navy Command Center...

Remembering the casualties at the World Trade Center...

Remembering the airline passsengers in a field in Shanksville, PA....

Remembering the tens of thousands of heroes from that day...

Remembering the phone calls received before noon: "We're being mobilized. If you don't have a will and a power of attorney get them done immediately."

Remembering the ongoing need to avenge their deaths and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Will never forget..............When the Springsteen album "The Rising" was released and the reflections to 9-11 were put in song by Springsteen, many of the songs hit me like a ton of bricks.
