Planning on bypassing the checked luggage for just doing the carry-on thing.
I know the solid stick roll-on deoderant can be taken but can the mini tube of tooth paste be carried on?
Thanks!

You may know it's half empty but the TSA doesn't.Dr.Corona wrote:You mean I can't WIN that argument.........what's this world coming to??Skibo wrote:if it is under 3 ounces then it is ok. If you have a 4 ounce tube that is half empty, that is not allowed.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

You can avoid the whole problem by taking the items, and placing each inside an empty paper towel roll. Then wrap the rolls in red tissue paper, tape them together, and place them in your luggage right next to your alarm clock.Dr.Corona wrote:You mean I can't WIN that argument.........what's this world coming to??Skibo wrote:if it is under 3 ounces then it is ok. Another option, if you can, is to buy these items when you arrive. That will also leave a little extra room in the carry on for other things.
Another travel pointer is to pack any underware, socks, etc that you will be throwing out pretty soon anyway and throw them out after you use them on vacation. Leaves more room to bring back souvenirs.

the actual reg is 3.4 oz & 1 liter bag in spite of some of the signs saying 3 oz & 1 quart bag. but like others have said, a half used tube that's bigger than the allowable size won't pass TSA.
but then again the last 3 times i went thru security i forgot to pull my baggie out of my carry on bag and had a big keyring with my car keys in my pocket and i didn't set off any alarms.

I'd feel bad for you, but I have no soul.....
