Are you saying that your pass didn't show up? :P

Seriously though, it is as other's have said; they have a pre-show and intermission room where you can go and get free beer and appetizers. Some of the band (and significant others) come out to say hello. If they know you (or you were out drinking with them the night before) they may have a seat and talk for a while.

For those who don't know me and think I'm making it up...

A couple passes from a few years ago. Not sure where my others are.

Core BNers and People with 29K+ posts are probably on both the "Terrorist Suspect: Do Not Fly" and "Stalker Suspect: Do Not Allow Backstage" lists.

I know. I know how to get back stage passes. In fact, I don't need one, I can just show up. It's a secret that I'm not telling. For all of you other people out there that are just every day normal people you'll just have to figure it out if you ever decide to want to go backstage to see whats back there.

Perhaps a "Best of Bernd/Volcano5270 thread" is in order. Kind of a "Chicken Soup for the Bernd/Volcano Soul" thing.

Vol just reminds me of someone I saw in town once at The Neutral Ground coffee shop on open mic night (yes, mic, not mike - mic is short for microphone) that played guitar along with a tape of some band.

That was his performance. When he screwed up he'd...stop the tape and rewind it a bit and then start over.

He thought it was artistic I guess.

I won a "meet and greet" a couple of years ago from a radio station contest.
WOO HOOO
I had about 10 minutes alone with the man! He autographed all my books and I even got a hug.
Ah...those were the days...
