i also have a citizen eco-drive, and i have been very happy with it. i have worn it everyday for about five years, and it is still in good condition (the face isn't even scratched). until this watch, i had never had a watch last me more than a year (i am hard on watchesOttoCal wrote:I like my citizen eco drive watch, doesn't need a battery.![]()
The stores will size them (which means take out a link).
Check to see if she wears more gold, or silver jewelery or a combination and try to get a watch to coordinate. I wear both, so I have a silver watch with gold tone accents. I'll try to find a pic of the one I got this year- it is a little dressy, but not too much.
OK, sorry I am being a lazybones, here is the link, not the picture:

Not waterproof though.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

I don't think I'd be much help on this one. I've never paid over $150 for a watch and I wear the hell out of 'em. It has to go with me in the shower, in the pool, diving, motorcycle riding, fishing/boating,... drinkin'
, etc... and I don't like girlie/feminine looking watches either, I like silver, with a wide band. My Kenneth Cole has been able to stand up to all of the above.
