The debate is on.

In the opening addresses Senator McCain mentioned that Senator Kennedy has been hospitalized again.

CBS news is reporting that Senator Ted Kennedy suffered a mild seizure this afternoon at home and was taken to Cape Cod Hospital. He's expected to return home tonight to watch the debate

They said he's "resting comfortably" at home.

I wonder how COMFORTABLE a person who's had a tumor removed from his brain can be.

I like the way that Jim Lehrer is managing this. So often these things don't get a good conversation between the candidates and he is pushing for that.

Why did Palin decline to be the post debate response on NBC for her own ticket? That seems odd to me.

NBC just had their fat check run down through some of the talking points, I love that part. Just reminds us all that they will say what they think they need to to win.
