Bonnie Bishop it was. We saw her warm up for REK in Raleigh the night before we flew to TX in April.

That was a cool performance by Robert Earl Keen!

I don't recall that big fenced aisle going right down the middle last year though...

Did not recognize the 5th song in the setlist:

01 Undone
02 Corpus Christi Bay
03 Furnace Fan
04 Broken End Of Love
05 Throwing Rocks In The River???
06 Mr. Wolf and Mamabear
07 Flyin' Shoes (by Townes Van Zandt)
08 Farm Fresh Onions
09 New Life In Old Mexico
10 Feelin' Good Again
11 Gringo Honeymoon
12 The Road Goes On Forever
13 Walkin' Cane (with Bonnie Bishop)

05 was quite a dark little ditty.
I had never heard it either.

She wasn't bad; she wasn't good;
She was just what she was.
She has thing
Makes a man
Doe the things he does.
She outweighs? a special way
To speak without a word
I swear to you this very day
This is how it all occured.

WE was throwing rocks in the river
countin ties on the track
thinking life could not be better
than livin in a shack
feeling love for one another
deep down in our bones
standing down by the water
throwing rocks
skipping stones

I was raised in New Orleans
She was born in Jacksonville
and for a time
the ?? says
She made the world stand still

Throwin rocks in the river
Countin ties on the track
thinking life could not be better
than living in a shack
fall in love with one another
deep down in our bones
standing by the water
throwin rocks
skipping stones

I came home late
and I caught her
with a man from out of town
now away beside the water
'fore the flood will take me down

Throwin rocks in the river
Countin ties on the track
pouring gas on the letters
setting fire to the shack
screaming bloody murder
leaving nothin' but the bones
standing by the water
throwin' rocks
skippin' stones

standing by the water
throwin rocks

I halfway listened to the Drive By Truckers one year at ACL FEST, because Jimmie Dale Gilmore, or someone I really wanted to hear, was playing at the same time.

Today I really listened to DBT and their show was pretty entertaining.

It's definitely dark here already.

I thought this was LIVE! Guess not...

And, gbman, that fence/walkway down the middle there seems to be a good idea for security.

And the schedule HAS Fogerty down for 6:30 until 7:30, so yes, it is delayed.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss are the closers on one stage and BECK on the other.

Dang - John is not wasting any time - it's like fast forward. I don't remember it being this crowded last year until maybe Bob - I agree eisles are a good idea.....

John is looking and sounding good.
