Jones Beach or The Woodlands.
Jones Beach was the greatest setting I saw this year.
Woodlands was the most unique songs...especially Gulf Coast Highway.
(Although I don't imagine these DVDs would have much appeal to the masses, they were both very impressive performances.)
I would kinda like to see Minute Maid Park show from Bama Breeze Tour. Such great encores.

As conched mentioned....another show that probably wouldn't have much appeal to the masses, but I'd like to see/hear is the Jimmy & Mac Acoustic show from Austin, TX at the Paramount Theater on September 19, 2006.
Oh YES! I actually think that would have more appeal than the Paris show. It was so special, with just enough audience interaction. Jimmy was certainly on that night.Dezdmona wrote:As conched mentioned....another show that probably wouldn't have much appeal to the masses, but I'd like to see/hear is the Jimmy & Mac Acoustic show from Austin, TX at the Paramount Theater on September 19, 2006.

The Paris show. It's such a small venue and you can really tell Jimmy is having fun. He comes in and greets the people in the line, as well as has fun with all the different hats and paraphanelia that flies to the stage! THe sound is awesome, as you can actually hear the band and voices directly from them and not throught the amps!!!

How about the Coastal Confessions show (or whatever it was called) from New Orleans? I thought that was supposed to be out on DVD.

I always thought the Coastal Confessions show was supposed to be released on DVD also. That was a fun show. I'd love to own that oneLIPH wrote:I'd like to see that one too.Dezdmona wrote:As conched mentioned....another show that probably wouldn't have much appeal to the masses, but I'd like to see/hear is the Jimmy & Mac Acoustic show from Austin, TX at the Paramount Theater on September 19, 2006.

When tickets for that show went on sale, ticketmaster's website said sales were limited to Louisiana, the Florida panhandle and parts of Alabama and Mississsippi. Being a typical NYer, I tried for tickets anyway. I had front row center and TM cancelled my order because I was out of the approved area, which I knew they would do because that's what it said on the website.Frank4 wrote:I always thought the Coastal Confessions show was supposed to be released on DVD also. At the risk of "pulling a Volcano", does anyone know if a recording of this show exists? Searched jokelben and spooner and didn't see it. Searched BN Concert Trading forum and saw no mention. Sounds like a really cool show.Dezdmona wrote:As conched mentioned....another show that probably wouldn't have much appeal to the masses, but I'd like to see/hear is the Jimmy & Mac Acoustic show from Austin, TX at the Paramount Theater on September 19, 2006.
