Does Jimmy ever...

Just wondering... after a concert, does Jimmy ever pop in at a local M'Ville and play a song or two?

Why I'm asking...

About three years ago, we went to the last concert of the year (Las Vegas) and after the show made it down to M'Ville.

We weren't there very long before the rumor spread that Jimmy might pop in and play a couple of songs. We got even more excited when 4-6 VERY large men dressed in black took up positions around the stage area.

Sadly though, Jimmy never appeared. Then, after an hour or so, the bodyguards disappeared and the DJ moved to a dance-club style mix.

(I'm guessing Jimmy WAS in the house, though - saw some band members!)

Now...

Since it looks like we're going to the Oct. 25 Vegas show after all, I was wondering if we ought to stake out M'ville after the show, or... pursue other objectives...

That rumor is always going around Vegas. Back before M-ville was even there, the rumor would be he was going to show up at Tommy Rockers. Never happened.

He used to go to the sports bar in the MGM after the show and have a drink or two. I saw him there with Robert and Michael one year. It was really nice to see them relax until someone said in a loud voice "There's Jimmy Buffett" and the fans surged toward him. He finished his drink and quickly left, not to be seen again that night.
