Mohegan Sun Margaritaville Opens

Post by phjim »

The Norwich Bulletin has an article: "Mohegan Sun: Buffett fans go wild for new Margaritaville cafe". The article includes a video and <a href="">photos[/url].

Despite catching only a few hours of Z’s the night before, dozens of Hawaiian shirt-sporting, lei-wearing fans anxiously stood vigil Monday morning outside Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurant at Mohegan Sun casino for the restaurant’s official opening.

“We were here until about 1 a.m. last night,” said Terri Sonnemann of Waterbury. “And now we’re waiting to go back in.”

Did any other fellow BN'ers attend the Grand Opening? My question is, do they serve Lone Palm Ale there?

THERE IS NO SLIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was there yesterday. Walked in and walked out. Went back to the casino to drink for free. Just another bar. Nothing special.

I WANTED A SLIDE AND A JACUZZI!!!!!!! IT IS ONLY THE BIGGEST CASINO IN THE WORLD WITH A 300+ ROOM HOTEL ATTACHED TO IT . . . WHY NOT HAVE A JACUZZI AND SLIDE FOR THE WINTER, JIMMY!!!!

No, I didn't see you either, or I would have said hi.

I literally walked in and walked out. I think I spent 2 minutes at most looking around. Didn't even sit down for a beer. Just another bar with overpriced drinks. Not being negative but it is just not a place I would go unless a kick as$ band was playing. I can't name one thing special about it.
