If my kid ever came home spouting some lame crap about ANY candidate I'd be ready to have a serious talk with the teacher

These kids participated of their own free will with their parents' support. I don't see anything wrong with it.
Heck, I passed out Nixon buttons and bumper stickers on my bicycle in my neighborhood and all over town when I was about 10. Nobody made me do it; I wanted to! (Although my candidate let me down.) I went in the candidate's headquarters and volunteered. I wanted to be a part of the political process.
(I actually remember asking my friends in the sandbox, literally, who their parents were voting for, and saying mine were voting for Goldwater!

Yes, I'm old!)

Fortunately there is a voting age in our country.

This was crafted by Hollywood. I believe it was the producer of Yes Man.

Not exactly "kids" but a professor at a Coloardo college insisted on his students writing a critical/negative paper on Gov. Palin.

It's a free country.
Somebody ought to get some church choir to sing something for McCain...they could sing:
"Bomb, Bomb, Bomb,...Bomb, Bomb Iran"

I still haven't heard anyone say that they are a bunch of CROOKS. Red, blue or yellow there is not a honest on in the bunch. Maybe once we get rid of career politicians I will change my cynical way.

This isn't coming from a 10 year old without influence from their parents. Typical 10 year olds are playing dolls and baseball not worrying about politics. Plus when someone of authority such as a teacher says we are doing this but you don't have to participate, that is just plain BS. Politician's need to keep their greedy hands out of our schools at least the elementary schools. I hope this school is not getting government funds in any way shape or form.

Um, it didn't have anything to do with a school and it wasn't done at a school ..... it was done at somebody's home.
And it only says that she was a music teacher ..... from the information given it isn't clear whether she's a private music teacher or affiliated with a public school.

That being said, I still think it's kinda creepy.
Sort of like those "beauty" contests with 6-year olds.
