Nashville....Where to stay?

Post by finz83 »

Meeting a friend in Nashville to go to a Tennessee Titans game. Need an idea of a hotel to stay at, downtown, within walking distance from the bars would be great. Any suggestions?

Also if there are any great places to drink. We are coming in on Saturday and leaving on Monday.

Best Western Downtown (where we always stay)
Embassy Suites
Ramada
Hampton
Hilton Suites
Courtyard by Marriott
Sheraton

All downtown.

Bars:
Beer Sellar (my #1 favorite of all time-you MUST at least visit it)
Mulligan's Irish Pub
Bourbon St. Blues
Exit/In (where Jimmy once played)
All Printers Aly bars (it's spelled aly or ally I don't know why)

The Hermitage Hotel
The Sheraton Downtown
The Doubletree
The Renaissance

I've stayed in all of the above and can attest that they are within walking/stumbling distance of a number of bars.
Captain Jack's Bar & Grill, Home to the Lost Manatee.

Livin' and dyin' in 3/4 time.

Glad to hear the Best Western is decent. That is the hotel I have been looking at. I also thought about going through Hotwire or Priceline(name your own price), but I am worried we may end up farther away from the downtown/bar areas.

Thanks for the suggestions. We will definitely be checking out the Beer Sellar.
