I love SW, prefer to fly with them over others.

They don't charge you to check a bag either :)

that has changed of late. They still board a-group, b-group, and c-group, but now when you register online, you are given a number within the group. It does work, and isn't any worse than Delta's Zones 1-7
I haven't flown SW in the last 2 years. They only fly out of Islip in this area, that's 40 miles from where I live and it's $12.50/day to park the car. I can take the train to JFK with my monthly LIRR ticket then $5 each way for the AirTrain. SW would have to be a lot cheaper for it to be worthwhile and lately they haven't been that much lower than other carriers.
understood. was just mentioning that they have gotten away from the festival seating. I am fairly lucky in that they go places I have needed to go in the past few years. Tho, with MSP a fortress hub for NWA (at least for a while longer), they aren't going up north anytime soon.

I don't really prefer them & Islip is only 35 min form me -though they did change their seating a little they added the business fare which they get the first numbers -I just don't like their seating ways :-?
