Call me cynical, but I don't buy the exit polls until EVERY vote is counted...
(Just watching... really don't care who wins...)

Yeah, nobody like a sore winner. Enjoy, but keep it classy.
I don't see a thing uncivil or sore about shouting when you're happy and excited. Watch the You Tube video and chill.

I wonder what the largest popular vote margin ever was? As you said, it's going to be pretty close tonight, as the last several have been.
It would either be the 1972 or 1984 elections that had the biggest margin of victory.
what i can never get...is
how does someone win the popular vote and lose the electorial vote...not be the President!!....wouldn't that be the measuring stick!! IMO!!....It could possibly happen tonight!!!......it's like if you win 5-4 in say baseball....but because 3 of your runs were unearned...they don't count and you lose!!..if that makes any sense!!!!!
Unlikely that will happen tonight.
I think when it's all over, Obama will have collected a comfortable majority in both electoral votes and popular vote.
It should leave no doubt in folks' minds that Obama has won a broad mandate.
But more than that, the Republican party needs to do some soul searching. With the results of 2006 and tonight's results taken together, the Republican losses in the House and Senate indicate the nation has turned away from their vision of what this country should be.

The shouting that has been previously posted is not about being happy or excited, but more a shove it in your face at the losers. Not sure of what You Tube video you mean?

So they know exactly how many votes were cast? Then WHY do we have to wait for ALL precincts to report before getting our total?

The precincts report their total votes when they are all counted.
Precincts in major population areas of a state can cause the whole state to lean one way or the other even if rural precincts haven't reported in yet, especially in states with only one or two major population centers.

Garry, your efforts to reach out to the people in a bipartisan fashion...has fallen short

Maybe those Republicans who crossed Party lines to vote in the Iowa Caucus against Hillary's campaign, in hind sight may have wanted to rethink that idea!!
Garry, The people from the Iowa Caucuses have a front row at the rally in Chicago!

Neither party should be excited about winning this election. The whole thing was and is a disgrace. Neither party's candidate put forth any coherent plan to fix what's gone awry. I heard a lot of platitudes and precious few details. I'm disgusted with all of them. Our forefathers are spinning in their graves.....
