Here's what I got for my first name:
There are 76,346 people in the U.S. with the first name Alison.
Statistically the 622nd most popular first name.
More than 99.9 percent of people with the first name Alison are female.
(while I suspect that they are just leaving some room for statiscal error, there could also actually be BOY out there named Alison????

)

I didn't enter in anything for my last name, and this is what I got:
There are fewer than 336 people in the U.S. with the last name .

Except it is not accurate. There are only about 20 people with my last name in the country, but one of them married and Ellen and she changed her name though this says that I am the only one.

There are 7 people in the U.S. named with my name, and one of them was a character in a couple episodes of the sitcom The Life and Times of Molly Dodd. (I know that from Googling my name.)

There are one or fewer people with my maiden name. And there are fewer than 336 people in the U.S. with the last name. I think I know most of them, the number is increasing every year, thanks to my young married nephews.
