Chart Room Bar Update

I received an email from Jean today who first informed me about the possible closing of the chart room bar. Her email included the following:

"So far the Chart Room is still alive and well, and I believe our letters got the attention of the Pier House Management. Thank you for your support."

I would also like to thank all of you who helped by sending your support.

that's funny. i was just searching yesterday to see if the place was still open. i'd like go there while down to motm. yea!!!!!!

That's good news! Hope it remains open...haven't been to KW in a couple of years now and I'd like to get back there soon to throw back a couple of coldies at the CRB

Just came back from there this past weekend and the bartender and board member for the Western Union schooner both told me that they are in the same position as a lot of businesses down there "Here today, but could be gone tomorrow". They have not heard anything from management and that the internet rumor was just that "as of now". Great place, off the beaten path, but well worth a stop (and drink)!

I will be there for MOTM....and I will definately stop in there for a few drinks. I can't wait!

I love the Chart Room Bar! that was the last stop we made on my 40th Birthday Pub Crawl in March this year.

Why don't we have a BN phlocking there during MOTM? All our PHC's are having individual parties, why not us? It'll back up our emails that we want the place to be there!!!

Ditto - I think a great place for a BN photo op! Maybe after the KDMoore/Fingers cruise on Saturday? A lot of us will already be down there when we get off the boat (Unless of course Brandon and Kev and Jack can't find their way OFF the boat!)
