Who has been the greatest live act ever?
The Stones, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Queen, Pink Floyd, Bowie, or someone else?
This Day in Music have just started a poll to find out. If you fancy voting for who you think should win go to http://www.thisdayinmusic.com
You can vote for any act, just go to 'other' on the list.

Been to hundreds of shows over my lifetime, probably too many...
i've seen all of acts the above artists listed...
First show:: KISS (with Cheap Trick opening), 1977
Biggest show: US Festival, Devore CA 1982 (over 300,000 people on a 105º day)
Most anticipated: Pink Floyd (playing The Wall, 1980, L.A.)
Most exciting: Bruce Springsteen, Born in the U.S.A. 1984, L.A.)
Most awesome: that' s got to be a tie between The Rolling Stones, Page & Plant, and The Who
'cuz I just can't pick one over the others
Most recent: Buffett LAST NIGHT!!!
wait, that was the most awesome!

I've seen all of those except U2, and lots of other pop/rock, and of that genre, would definitely say Springsteen. His energy grabs the audience from the moment he takes the stage. Amazing performer!Frank4 wrote:Well, I've seen

I'd probablly have to go with Springsteen. I saw him for the first time last year and at age 58 he blew anyone else I have seen off the stage.
