I just flew back into Nashville last night (actually this morning) from Vegas. Great concert on Sat night.

This will mean a lot to my wife.

Great Show Saturday night the 25th at MGM Grand. One bad thing: Bathrooms and concessions closed during School Boy Heart. Had to leave the Arena and go outside. No Fat Tuesday Cups allowed. Whats up with that? The MGM better have it together next year. Leave the concessions and Bathrooms open!!!! Thirty songs this year instead of 28! Go Jimmy and see you next year! If the economy is still bad, Jimmy should call it the Tropical Depression Tour 2009! I'm glad he said he will be back next year, Vegas 2009!!!!!

Great Show Saturday night the 25th at MGM Grand. One bad thing: Bathrooms and concessions closed during School Boy Heart. Had to leave the Arena and go outside. No Fat Tuesday Cups allowed. Well, the bathroom situation was something that was unforeseen. A pipe in Las Vegas's already stinky suer system broke causing a very poopy situation. Arena bathrooms were closed. Jimmy added God's Own drunk in place of an intermission in order to hopefully keep a throng of people from going to the out of commission bathrooms.

Yesterday morning when I took Sammie dog outside for one last potty break before leaving Vegas they were working on the situation, and boy, did it stink.

Being up above the stage the conncessions there were still open (I thought....wifey-poo took her bathrrom break and came back with a coke (for rehydration purposes....) and they were still open). I did hear from several that the poo was flowing nicely on the floor sections!! So sorry

Yup, everything floor-level outside the concert got closed down - they actually sent a guy up to talk to Jimmy during the show and tell him what was going on.

Ended up being a bonus for us, though.... Jimmy threw in God's Own Drunk in place of an intermission. Then, when he got through early (10:50 or so) he picked the guitar back up and gave us "Lovely Cruise." Maybe he did plan to close with that one, but it didn't seem that way.

From my perspective, it was very cool that he knew we expected to stay till 11:00, and instead of packing it in early, he went ahead and played one more. I'd been hoping to hear "Lovely Cruise" as the encore for several years, and Saturday night, Wish Granted!

i don't know if this would be related to the mgm problem, but during the street party between m'ville and o'sheas, there was a sewer access point near the stage, and it was quite odiferous.
