scenes from a jimmy weekend in vegas.......

while at the show, i sat next to a couple from denver, who drank steadily during the show. they weren't sloppy about it or obnoxious. the hubby would go get a couple more drinks when their cups were empty. wife also had 1 or 2 small bottles of what could have been rum and plastic shot cups, and would pass those around to friends who were sitting in the row behind.
another couple who were obviously jimmy fans, left early. i dunno why, but i have seen that a few times lately.
before the show i met 3 buffett virgins, so i welcomed them to the flock. on sunday nite at m'ville, i met another one from cleveland who was totally unaware that jimmy was in town. she and her bf/fiance where staying at ceasers, because he was in vegas for business or it could have been a reward for his business success. he did not seem to be a jimmy fan.
i have decided that drinking landshark, corona, or what ever your fave beer is, is better than drinking the watered down $8 to $10 "ritas" you get at m'ville and toby keith's place at harrahs.
a cheaper buffet is not necessarily a better buffet. last year i went to the buffet at the palms. this time i went to 2 places that were under $10 each.
the quality was not good. coco's, across the street from mgm and next to motel 6 has better food. next time around, i will try the expensive buffet again.
most of you know that tommy rockers cantina is now tommy rockers strip joint. so i ask dean s. does...t r...make as much or more money now than he did before with less effort on his part?
another question for dean. does ..t r ...and conched out work regularly or only special occasions like the street party on jimmy weekends. besides ...t r 's other resturants and the conga players radio gig, do the other people in the band have other jobs/careers/gigs also?
