No longer a fan...Vote for whoever you like, but when you came out publicly for O'bama, you lost these fans. the songs will never sound the same. Margaritaville is now Kool Adeville. Not thatit would matter any longer to the fat cat mogul you've become. So long Jim.

So you joined a Buffett fan site just to say you're not a fan?

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Yet another one-poster. Me thinks strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Who was that tool... he didn't know Jimmy was a Democrat... I love those folks who preach freedom and being laid back and everyone does there own thing and then they get mad when people exercise it. Loser.

Nah. I doubt it's a one-time poster. It may well be someone who is already here, but just wanted to get that message off his/her chest anonymously without "jeopardizing" their regular identity.

Does that mean it is you?
Or, that I should take back the loser comment?

You think? That sounds silly to me. Of course, signing up to post one thing is silly too. If it is a person who is already here, they should post with their regular identity because seriously, what's the harm? Sheesh...

Maybe Jimmy and Barack are sitting around a laptop in Tampa right now trying to get a rise out of us!

I still subscribe to this theory .....
alphabits wrote:Bits' Conspiracy Theory of the Day:
Upon hearing that Jimmy Buffett was performing at an Obama rally, someone on Senator McCain's campaign staff Googled "Jimmy Buffett". Seeing that BuffettNews was a huge fan site, they had dozens of campaign workers sign on as new users and post anti-Obama messages. The workers got tempted into browsing around and got lost in archived issues of BN Critters and polls for Halloween avatars. Thus distracted, they neglected all their previous duties with the McCain campaign, causing mass confusion at campaign headquarters and thereby ensuring the election of Senator Obama.

Is that something a "regular" poster has access to? Or just a moderator?
