Down the Road by Mac McAnally

I was just listening to a local country station here in Boston and heard the DJ introduce Down the Road by Kenny Chesney and Mac McAnally, very surprised because I have heard Mac do this before. First they neglected to point out the fact Mac wrote it, I guess that's not a big deal since Mac has written a ton of songs for many artists and most people never know. (One of my favorites is All These Years by Sawyer Brown, Back Where I Come From by K Chesney, When it Rains by Ryan Holladay, others done by Alabama and a couple of songs Jimmy has done pretty well with.) It sounded ok, I don't know if anybody has heard Mac sing it but he sounds great and recorded it on his own album Knots (1994), there is even a video which is available on ITUNES. Check it out if you get a chance you will be glad you did!

I don't dislike Kenny Chesney, I'm just not a fan. Dave Matthews, on the other hand, should never be allowed near a live mic. He just sucks.

I can't help but love, Key's In The Conch Shell, and I heard it first on RM.

It's a nice song with some good lyrics.

I think you may even like it, Larry.

I love this song- so sweet. My daughter is getting married so it is ringing true for us these days. I love Kenny's album- so many great tunes on it and it has been a godsend with all the bad news on TV- puts me back at the beach just like Jimmy's music.
