(3) Jollymon (live out in Lomg Island, can't remember the shw's name, but Paul Simon played, and that was when I met the flock.)

Nobody Speaks To The Captain No More.
I got my hands on a copy of Floridays...didn't listen to it forever, but when I finally did, the sadness of that song did me in. I kept listening for a million others, but there is absolutely no question of what song hooked me, long before I'd ever even heard any of the SYKBH.
The fact that it is followed by Floridays, If It All Falls Down, and When The Coast Is Clear sure didn't hurt, but it was The Captain...no question.
I'm a bit different that way, I guess.

Saw him first time in a bar...in the early 70's...He did the songs, and told stories in between about the songs, and just life.
Made me laugh....Made me cry.
I was hooked.

the 1 song i remember vividly from my 1st show was oph
the next day i bought the yellow album and wore it out. so, i guess i would go.....

ok...i didnt even know about god's own drunk until several shows later, but come on...do you really expect a list from me
