Another Thing To Watch Out For On Ticketmaster

I got Ticketmaster's website a few minutes ago to buy tickets to a show next week. As I was completing my transaction, Ticketmaster's website told me that I needed some additional verification (Verified By Visa or something like that) before completing my transaction. I assumed it was something routine. It wanted my cardholder name, security code and card expiration date. I started keying this stuff in and thinking about how stupid it was that I needed to do this. I read a little bit more and it was trying to enroll me in a credit protection program right along with my ticket purchase and I almost didn't notice. I had the option to decline, but it wasn't obvious why it wanted the info. I figured, without reading, that it was just a new step in checkout. Damn Ticketbastard is now resorting to tricks in order to make more money. And to think, I almost fell for it!!!

Hey Dave (snicker)... I have seen that before but never filled anything in....thanks for the heads up they may have changed something on the program....or is it a guy thing - kidding!

It's probably a guy thing. I just can't believe I started keying in info just on simple faith in TM. How foolish of me. Oh.... and I suppose happy turkeys to you as well Barbara.... or is it Sheryl? Just kidding Edna!

Today my mom took my son to see "Walking With Dinosaurs" in Jax and maybe halfway through it the show was cancelled due to technical difficulties.
The Ticketmaster outlet where I bought the tickets said to just come in and get a refund tomorrow.
Knowing Ticketmaster, I'll believe that when I see it
