Don't really have a reaction yet. Thankful we've got a coach. Thankful he's had success at the college level. Recruiting in the next few weeks will be huge. Rumors are that he's snagging his dad, Monte Kiffin, from Tampa Bay and former Ole Miss head coach Ed Orgeron as coordinators. Should be an exiting time on the newsfront here in Big Orange Country.
Right now, I'm just watching my round-ball Vols trying to hold on against Georgetown.

I'm somewhat of a Vols fan, as I've spent some time in Knoxville.
Kiffen should do well in recruiting. Perhaps get a top notch QB!!!???
Isn't Tenn's D usually pretty good? I wondewr if they should just stick with the existing DC.

I really like John Chavis and think he is a good DC. I like his style because he is very aggressive. However, he is part of the old regime and is on his way out of K-town. Monte Kiffin will be coming from Tampa Bay to coach with his son before retirement. He'll be lock-down! (which is what you have to have to compete in the SEC) Look for Chavis to go to either Georgia or LSU if he stays in coaching.

I was sort of suprised. I thought Lane might stay on the West Coast and go to Washington.
Congrats to all you Volunteers.....
