Scrubs is coming back, this time on ABC.

Anyone a fan?

I totally thought I was dreaming it up because the first ad for it was on during a state of dozing on Thanksgiving day, but then I saw another ad for it last night!

How cool is this??????

Will "the Commish from the More Taste League" be back? He was the best one on the show.

Just watched the trailor on abc.com and he's in there in the segment with guest-star Courtney Cox.

The entire cast is coming back! I am so glad Scrubs isn't over their "Series Finale" on NBC was terrible!

Also, I think the show How I Met Your Mother had to write off a recurring occasional actress on it (the woman who married Ted recently in the show).

Apparently, the show was only supposed to finish out last season with 18 episodes or so, but writing and filming was interrupted after 12 episodes due to the writer's strike. Bill Lawrence (the show's creator) and Zach Braff wanted to finish out the full 18 episodes, but NBC wouldn't renew the show for one more season. Ironically, the show was filmed at ABC Studios, so the switch to ABC wasn't a huge jump. So we've got at least one more season on ABC. There are rumors though that if ABC picks it up beyond this season, Lawrence, Braff, and other actors may leave.

This is all from Wikipedia, so it must be true.

BTW, Neil Flynn, who plays the Janitor, is the dad in Hoot! I can't help but laugh when I see him in that movie now.

Without Zack Braff, or Sarah Chalke, or....
the show needs ALL the returning cast for me to watch.

Personally, I thought the show jumped the shark when Carla and Turk got married...

Scrubs is a great show but I think they do need the whole cast to make it work.

I dunno, I thought it was a natural progression of the show. They can't be med students forever. Their characters have grown up as the show's progressed, and from a writing standpoint, there's enough sexual tension between JD and Elliot that it would be really awkward if Turk and Carla broke up at some point, yet the four of them were still all best buds.

Ok...I was happy with both episodes.

I loved the way the first one ended with JD talking about the Emmy's...

Now that Courtney Cox has fired the Janitor, and he wasn't in the 2nd show? Don't y'all think he'll be back??

2nd episode with George was really good...Loved the ending on the roof with the beer, and the flare gun saying goodbye to George.....

And Elliot saying "I'm sorry".....Good show.

Thoughts?

I can live with no Dr. Kelso and having Courtney Cox instead, but I'm not sure it can be Scrubs without Janitor.

That said, I loved BOTH episodes, especially how the 1st one ended with the Emmy talk.
