No. It's called a
perigee Moon
October's moon was the "Harvest" moon.
November was the "Hunters" moon.
Though the moon is the closest for this year, perigee, the common name for December's moon is "Cold" moon.

I live up at 10,500 feet up here in the mountains of Colorado and there is major cover in the sky tonight (a foot of snow coming).
I'd have been in a GREAT Position to see that on a clear night.
You can practically touch the stars in the sky where I live.
Tonight, unfortunately, you'd be reaching for dark cotton candy.
