Seriously...a good guideline for an event like this is something called the "2-6-1 rule." For any event of this nature, get at least two meals a day, six hours of sleep, and bathe (not just add deodorant/perfume) at least once in each 24-hour period.

Additional food can sometimes be substituted for sleep, but there is *no* substitute for bathing.

My wife and I will be coming down to MOTM for the first time this year. This will also be our first trip to Key West. We're flying in to Ft. L and then drivng down to the keys. We're very excited!!

We definitely will be making stops along the way. We're flying into Ft L on Saturday and are booked in Key West on Monday. So we'll be taking our time to get down there!

shoot, you could take US1 south out of downtown MIA, and get the full experience.

I swear by that guide, when I'm headin' southward. I've found many wonderful places to stop and spend a few hours along the way. It's one of the most beautiful drives on the planet.

I got some practice stalking in this weekend!!!! Can't wait for MOTM!!! We are going to the Hog's Breath in Destin for a little happy hour and KW feel this afternoon! ........but there will be no Green Parrot to head to after!

We're set to go too! We have our registration for MOTM confirmed, have our B&B reservations in. All that's left is the rental car and flight.
