I just heard back from the GM at Comfort Suites. They've been sold out for about a month now, over pure fan speculation that Buffett will return the last weekend of April - no large group bookings. I am near the top of the waiting list so I should be notified if there are any cancellations, but if the date is solid I wouldn't count on that.

Any thoughts of a June date. That's when Jerry Jones opens his new stadium for the Cowboys. I read a story a few months ago that he wanted to do it up big for the opening. They listed a few big names that they thought could fill it up and Jimmy was one of them. Follow up with a story this week that mentions no opening act named yet. If in deed it is a concert to open it up. Although it would be a huge Frenzy, I kind of like PHP and STARplex better.

Last year, the Frisco date wasn't announced until 2/19. In 2007 it was 2/20. Thanks to ETP for waking me up a month early this year, I'll be in full swing by then
