Okay, here's what I need. I need to know as soon as there's a date for Cincinnati concert this year. I have promised my grandson (10) that we would take him to Cincinnati via Huntington, WV, where he was born when his Mom was in college at Marshall. So we plan on touring Huntington and then taking him to his first JB concert ever. He is a HUGE JB fan. He has been begging for years to go with us. I think 10 is okay, I promised to be in charge of him so everyone else can do their thing. Actually when he was 4 we had to listen to "Knees of my Heart" 20-30 times in a row before we could switch to something else, probably cuz he fell asleep.
He now listens to that song then "Low, Low, Low" by FLOR rida then other JB stuff and then other rap stuff. He's gotta be a elementary kid afterall! Anyway, we are taking him on a tour to find his roots with grandparents, mom and stepdad, his new siblings will be left behind! So any inside info would be helpful. I will give a full report after our trip. I am so excited that his folks finally agreed to let him go to a JB concert, but more than that he can finally see where he was born.

could check the schedule on margaritaville.com, it's not like Jack talks with Jimmy about important stuff like concert dates.

We have put our money on a July (third week to be specific) concert in Cinci. But that just is a guess based on when he was there in the past. I wish it was in the spring (cooler). But July and August are the months he has been there the most. The hubby scheduled his vacation that week, but with our luck......................

so you just get to spend a week together... think of it as a chance to regain the magic...citcat wrote:We have put our money on a July (third week to be specific) concert in Cinci. Re: Cinncy Concert 09
I wouldn't be so sure about that July date. We've had two July dates in a row now. I've got this feeling that he's gonna throw an early June date on us this year similiar to what he did in 06. It's part of a larger conspiracy theory I have that he's trying to put some time between the riverbend show and September when I think he's gonna play Jacobs field. Back in 94 during a Buckeye Lake show he had made a thinly veiled promise to play Municipal Stadium in the near future, unfortunately, shortly after that, the devil art modell stabbed us in the back and the Muni was torn down. I have a feeling before he's done he's gonna fulfill that promise and show up at the Jake.

Well if it's NOT that week, then I hope somebody in his office will be nice enough to trade weeks with him. All's I know is:
I CAN'T WAIT and is it too early to start a "Who's going to Cinci? thread?
