On most days I say: "Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been...."
Sometimes I can only say: "There is no dumbass vaccine......"
If something or someone gets you down, just remember: "In a hundred years it all won’t matter.........."

Re: Do you swear? (Warning - Swearing Included)
I swear everywhere in front of anyone. For example, a friend of mine lives across from a church. The people that go to the church are very rude. I do finger drive-by's and effortlessly curse out anyone in my way. As well as other things.
And in front of children too. I will get a funny look from the odd parent here and there but I remind them that they hear it at skool and say it too - so stop acting like a prude.
Of course, here, there are some ways around the censoring of words. Usually just putting a space between all the letters but sometimes making the words longer works.
It's all hilarious. It's very entertaining.

There is a bar/restaurant in a town near me where my sons like to hang out. It is a nice place...lot of the local young folks hang out there, and the college kids..There is a group of "Christians" that park outside and hold signs and yell at the kids that they are going to H E L L for drinking etc...Now I am a Christian, and have my share of adult beverages...However in my mind that is definitely NOT the way to get anyone to listen to them or set a good example..I seriously doubt Jesus would do that! Anyway, I'm sure they get their share of what you hand out to those church folks!!

Re: Do you swear? (Warning - Swearing Included)
I swear often. But I have rules at work...and do not allow anyone to swear ever. They must be conscious of their surroundings, and scale it back. We are a fine-dining restaurant, and there is no place for it there...we are to be Ladies & Gentlemen who are serving Ladies & Gentlemen.
I've written people up for swearing in the past. They will almost always respond with "I didn't even realize I did it!". My answer..."Exactly". If you don't realize you are swearing in the kitchen, maybe you are doing so in front of the guests and not realizing it, either...

F*uck yeah dude, I f*cking cuss all the f*cking time. I'm a fan of some of the more interesting terms like d*uchebaggery, as*hat, and d*ckhead is an older term, but still so effective.

I'm also kinda fond of saying, "Well, F*** a duck !!"
Or when I get ticked at somebody I'll say, "CHUCK YOU, FARLEY !!"
Or "F*** you and the horse you rode in on."

Here's one that scares people at first: "YOU SON OF A BISCUIT-EATER !!"

Depends on where I am and who I am with.
I don't use or like any of the "c" words.
I have been using the "f" word more lately and guess I should clean it up.

Isn't it weird how that particular word strikes a nerve for some reason....?
It makes me cringe a little and it's not one that has found it's way in to my vocabulary....that one, and the 'n' word.....are the two I can honestly say I don't use.

Re: Do you swear? (Warning - Swearing Included)
I normally don't use the c word however I have been known to use it a time or two - and it's usually when another female has really done something REALLY crappy to either myself or my friends/family. As far as the n word - if I said I never used it I would be lying. Growing up in the South during the time of desegregation it wasn't uncommon to use that word. Things have changed since then and so have I.pbans wrote:SMLCHNG wrote:Same here.caly wrote:I don't use or like any of the "c" words.

Have you ever wondered who the f**k decided which words WOULD be curse words? Like, why is s**t a cuss word but not doo doo. It's the same f'in thing!
That said, i don't curse at work. I teach 7th grade.

Re: Do you swear? (Warning - Swearing Included)
I don't swear as much as a lot of people think that I probably do.
I have the ability and had a lot of practice but find that it's more effective when used in small doses.
If I'm really angry, I probably won't swear and may not even say much at all.

Just before Christmas I was in the post office and it was really busy. Some guy called a woman the "c" word and I told him to watch his mouth. He started getting all belligerent with me, and I was already p*** off from all the f'n tourists in Rockefeller Plaza, so I started walking towards him and told him he was being as a$$hole and needed to shut his mouth.
