Yep, forgot about that one, it's VERY annoying to me, too!
In outlook at work, I use the preview pane, which helps, but using Yahoo for personal, it doesn't have that feature.
I sent out an email to my entire address book a couple of years ago and told people that in this day and age, with all the viruses, that I will not open an email from them without a subject. If I receive one, I'll assume they downloaded a virus that affected their address book and delete the email without reading it. I've had to send my mom a couple of emails asking if she sent me something and to resend with a subject if she did, but otherwise, rarely get emails without subjects.

You do?? Kewl. Are you on the Global Address Book?
I think so...
I have only one person who does this but it's always a question on what to do..
so it never worries me.. but i have only had company email for a little over a month..

It was really ironic- the chronic offender sent out an email with the big, official Office Communication Policy (or some other corporate jargon nonsense), which had to be printed, signed and returned. It only had a few points- be professional, don't use your email for personal emails, use spellcheck, use a subject line, a template for your signature, and you have no privacy and the company owns your emails blah blah snore.
She sent it without a subject line.
My ship she has a rudder, but I don’t know where to steer

Recently I find more people sending an email to my department (Facilities) with nothing listed in the body of the email, and all the information in just the SUBJECT line.
Does anyone else experience this, and does it drive you crazy?
I HATE it, except when I'm on the phone with the person and they are sending me information in e-mail as though we were IM-ing. We have IM at work (a corporate version) and I use that primarily to communicate and send quickie stuff.
The only thing that upsets me about work e-mail is when the baffoons downstairs send me an e-mail because they're too damn lazy to come upstairs to my office, or, for that matter, to even pick up the phone and call. I think most of those clowns do it just because they can.
There's only one thing that drives me crazier than that, and it's when those same idiots send me a g.d. freaking TEXT MESSAGE!
I don't like them, I've never understood them or their purpose, and I literally bounce off of walls whenever I get ANY text message.

ACtually the most annoying thing that happens to me is "See the Attachment", then the person forgets to send it...
I'll admit sometimes that happens to me where I inadvertently hit the button. But we're talking people saying, I sent you an email yesterday, did you get it?

y wood tht typ of thng rattl Ur cage???
Because I'm only one floor above those jerk-offs, and if they're too lazy to walk up one flight of stairs or CALL on the phone, then they don't belong here.

I'm guilty of this sometimes, and it's due to me wanting a papertrail to cover my a$$. People can deny you told them something, but when you forward the email to them again, it normally stops their argument that they didn't know.
