I'm looking to get a new JB live DVD/CD set (I have Anguilla and love it) and am trying to decide between the Wrigley and Fenway shows.
The Fenway is actually easier, as the local WM has it in stock. Is Wrigley enough (if any) better to justify having to order it online and wait?
Just to note, I'll probably eventually get both, but I want the best of the two now .

I haven't seen the Fenway DVD but I love my Wrigley one!

I have two or three of the Wrigley songs on my "Scenes You Know by Heart" DVD, and it does look like a rockin' show.

If we had to choose a favorite, we'd pick Wrigley Field. Jimmy is so hyped in this one cause he is playing Wrigley Field his favorite baseball park ever!!
There is a great section that shows Jimmy riding his bike all of Chicago. We've been there several times and have been to most of the places he visits and had a blast saying, look, we were there.
Also Jimmy and Mac play, City of New Orleans at night sitting in the high bleachers. It is totally awesome! Especially since that train departs for New Orleans from Chicago.
Anyway it is just a cool DVD.
I think I also read in a post recently here on the boad that they are stopping production of the Wrigley Field DVD.
Let us know which you decide to get and how you like it.
I'm partial to Wrigley as we lost our virginity (of the concert style ) there. Yeah, and it was a great concert too. Tailgate, not so much - but that's not what your lookin for on a DVD.
Both good, if I had to pick one it would be Wrigley. But Fenway Park has great versions of Boat Drinks, Cuban Crime of Passion and WDWGDAS/Sweet Caroline, among others. But nothing touches the Wrigley version of Banana Republics.

I'd say Wrigley, but then again I was there for both shows. I believe that DVD has set 1 from day two and set 2 from day one. To see Mac and Jimmy up there by themselves on the bleachers doing City Of New Orleans on day one was totally and completely awesome! That's the DVD to get, even if the sets are out of sequence and finishes with that song.
For Wrigley they tried to simulate a complete show, and it works, and there's some other good stuff on the bonus tracks as well.

That, and City of New Orleans are two I will never forget!

I like Fenway over Wrigley - Fenway is a better show, better performance. It's also closer to the album (LTC) so everything is a bit more fresh. Also historically the Fenway show is more since the Sox went on to win the MLB championship. The DVD is not the whole show, which with Wrigely is a bit too much. I've watched both and I prefer Fenway.
I thought Wrigley was just kind of boring and by the numbers - another big show, another baseball stadium. Yes, it is cool. But Fenway was the first and sounds better.
