This makes at least the third mayor in the last ten years from CT that's been arrested. Not to mention the governor who did federal time.

And in this case, it stands as much for Dirtbag as it does anything else. When he got elected he pushed for and got the city charter changed so he became a "strong mayor"--previously it was the city council that had the most power. Then, he got himself appointed head of the board of education, so basically he could run the city unchecked. He's an ass.
