Had to miss last year, but not this one.

With the date announced in TX, April 18, 2009 - Pizza Hut Park - Frisco, TX
do you still think April 16th is a given?
Yes.

No system, other than time of year and basic logistics. Lakewood this year.

Couple questions (we're newbies to ATL....from Dallas, TX).
If I read Lakewoods website correctly it states "no tailgating". Is that possible? A JB concert without tailgating all day? Whats the point?
Anyone hear of any pre-sale info for this show?

Believe me, there will be tailgating. We have pictures to prove it.

I've never heard of presales for Atlanta, not going to be a lot of time with tickets going on sale Saturday.
Last year the didn't open the gates at Lakewood till noon (I think it was) and it really backed up traffic. Great location for tailgating with plenty of room ($20 for parking in the Lakewood lots).

I hope that LiveNation has their sh*t together by Saturday. This weekend I bought Charlotte tickets and it was a disaster. I did finally get lawn tickets nearly two hours AFTER they went on sale (that's never happened before).
Also, I just checked their site and LAWN & PAVILLION seats are STILL available to BOTH CHARLOTTE & RALEIGH. That means neither are a sellout yet...again, that's never happened before. I guess the economy is in the tank.

Ticketmaster has prices of $36 and $136 posted but I don't see what the service fees, venue fees or convience fees will be.

Now here is the question. Ticketmaster and Livenation both have the show listed. Which one will be selling? I dont want to waste precious seconds picking the wrong one and being redirected to the other...
I am thinking it is Ticketmaster as I have seen Livenation direct back to ticketmaster before, but never ticketmaster to livenation.

What hotels is everyone staying at for the show? We have alway stayed about 3-5 miles away down by the airport off of I think its Bobby Brown Pkwy. Anyone have any suggestions?

The direct link here and on Margaritaville is for Ticketmaster so I would think that they would be the best bet. (I'll let you insert your opinion as to the performance of Ticketmaster)

All I am looking for is two lowly lawn seats, no dice.
