Regarding the tailgate party......

Is bringing an RV an option? We didnt get the VIP parking although I wish we did.
Is that going to be a problem?

I emailed Lakewood to find out about bringing an RV and what time they plan on opening the parking gates (I'll post whatever "official" response I get). Im hoping to get there around noon with a mid-size(ish) RV. Not sure if they will let us in?

The VIP lot usually opens later than all the rest, it is the paved lot up at the main entrance. I believe it was around 2 last year when it opened.

There'll be a bunch of RVs down there parked in all lots. Last year they didn't open the parking lot gates till noonish. I don't know what time they planned to open but I do know that cars were pilling up on the side streets waiting to get in.

Thanks Dawgfan, that is what I was thinking, probably be heading to the gravel lot as early as possible.

OK, all set to join the Party at the End of the 'hood. I think the tailgate plans for us will be to enter again in the back lot by the lake and since it shouldn't be 102 degrees, maybe we will walk around a bit more this year. I'll still have the Buffett Cubs jersey on and the Capt's hat as well. Where's my per diem? Fins up! Coconut

Should I look for the tent with LSL and Margs? It should be easy to find right? We will be set up somewheres close there, I have to work the perverbial "half day" in Athens and then it will be on like Donkey Kong. I'll probably have a few cold Yuenglings and a flabongo hit or two.

Is anyone up for doing another phone list for this show?

I sure do like Yuengling, especially on draft. (Its what my brother-in-law has on tap at his house in PA). Yeah, we'll be the tent with the parrot, pirate and party stuff, should be easy to find (like a needle in a haystack). If I do a phone thing, I'll have to change my ringtone, it's Margaritaville so I never hear it ring in a parking lot full of radios playing Margaritaville!

Not sure what I'll do to the fin yet, but it is time to put on the 'ol thinking cap and put together something different. The show date is quickly approching!
