We have two Maine Coons at our house. Roxy, the female, loves to lick any type of plastic. Rambo on the other hand prefers paper. Books, Newspaper, Magazines, Toilet Paper nothing is safe, and unfortunately he doesn’t just lick it he eats it.

He also likes to drink out of the sink. As far as playing fetch goes he got too lazy for that a long time ago, but he does know how to shake hands.

They don’t go crazy that often, but they have been known to get their heads stuck in a Caesars Palace change cup every once in awhile. Go to You Tube and search for Maine Coon and you will see what I am talking about. Rambo shaking hands can be found on You Tube under Maine Coon Tricks. Oops, I guess you can just click the YouTube link under my name and go straight to the Videos. Enjoy

Watched the fare well party yesterday. Very sad. But at least there are more animals to see.

Its always a good thing to see animals getting adopted. My cat, now almost 7 was a rescue kitten we got at about 5 months. To this day he still skitzes out a few times a day and runs around the house like a lunatic. He isnt to fond of plastic bags, does enjoy watching TV, especially in high def and has this thing where he picks up his favorite toy mouse and walks around the house meowing with it in his mouth, this is very strange and we can't figure out why he does this but, hey whatever works for him

These five kittens were born on January 7, 2009. Mom was brought in as a stray on December 19th and gave birth at the shelter. The two calicos (orange, white and black) are female and named Kumquat and Citron. The three orange and white kittens are all males and named Marmalade, Pomelo and Tangelo.

Pomelo, Marmalade, Tangelo, Citron, Kumquat and Mom will be available for adoption on March 4th at the Southeast Area Animal Control in Downey, CA. You can enjoy their antics on our live cam ( http://www.foundanimals.org ).
