A post in another thread, the how many places have you see Jimmy and the venues up in smoke threads got me thinking (and yes it hurt).
What was the cheapest price you've payed for a ticket and what venue?
Mine was at the Armadillo World Headquarters - you could get in for $ .99 with a University of Texas Student ID. I was in high school and we there at a UIL journalism workshop. Several of us got guys to be our "dates" to get us in the door and bought them drinks.
So what's yours?

Are you speaking specifically of Buffett shows?
If so, I believe mine was a lawn at Merriweather Post Pavilion for about $30

yes - and thanks!!! I fixed the title to be more specific. If it were for any show I'd have to say free

For Buffett it was $0.00 at the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa in 2005 (thank you Heather). When I had to pay it was $20.00 at Jones Beach, my first Buffett show in 1988.
For a non-Buffett show it was $6.00 at Madison Square Garden in 1970 - Wilbur Harrison, Booker T & The MGs and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

$0 when we bumped into some SYKBH fans who had an extra pair to lose at a Vegas show. They told us that they'd call us if they couldn't sell them. They didn't sell so we got 11th row for free.

About $10, Jimmy opened a show for the Eagles in the 70's. There are a lot of details that I don't remember about my high school career.
The first ticket price that I
remember was $11.50 for ZZ Top's
Degüello tour during my senior year in high school.

I've had free 2nd row seats.
I've also had free General Admission with backstage access.
Don't remember the least I've paid...it's been so long since it was affordable.

I'm thinking we all got free tickets to the Margaritaville Grand Opening Pool Party at the Flamingo. They came free for booking a room for 3 days for $180. I think.

7 bucks and a college ID got me into King's Dominion Park outside Richmond, VA back in 1978. The price included all day admission, all rides and attractions plus a concert by Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers.
