Ok, I am trying to not get email notification....

you can just go into the user control panel and then to board preferences and click the "no" dot.

I THINK I HAVE IT FIGURED OUT! One of the new features on the board is that you can "subscribe" to threads or entire forums. This button is located in the top left when you open a forum or in the top left corner of the discussion box when you open individual threads. You could easily accidently click it without knowing it thus receiving emails anytime someone posts. You can check to see if you are subscribed to any threads by going to your "USER CONTROL PANEL" and then to "SUBSCRIBED THREADS"

You then have the option of unsubscribing to the thread or forum(click on unwatch or unsubscribe) You can also unsubscribe by going to the thread or forum in question and looking at the left corner of the discussion box and unsubscribe there.
