I dont think I have ever seen a company perform so abysmal as LN did today. They will be losing lots of artists and lots of business.
Good.
Good.

I know it won't do any good but I just sent their corporate site a nasty email. Made me feel better if nothing else. B*stards!

No doubt. Tickets will be out there for face value or scalpers are going to have to eat them like last year. Just a shame you can't easily get them online. As much as I hate Ticketmaster, I have never had a problem getting tickets.surfpirate wrote:What short memories we all have. The ticket market imploded last year, remember? Tickets were available for less than face value all over the place. You couldn't *give away* lawn tickets at most shows right up to the day of the show.
Chill. Unless you're really angling for front rows, you'll have your choice of tickets at reasonable (even below *face value*) if you just wait.

Same here "There was a problem" for 20 minutes for me and the missus on 2 different computers. The first time I was shut out also. And what is with those security words? I couldn't read half of them then I get "9) PTL Club" and "disadvertessement". I called my local Blockbusters but no one is set up for sales yet. I also called the 888-MY-LNTIX number and after being routed to the Charlotte representative IT WENT TO VOICEMAIL!!!!
What a ripoff.
What a ripoff.

But, at the worst, I'll show up for the tailgate and KEEP ON tailgating after the concert starts. At least I'll be drinking with other B.N.ers.
And, as you say, I'm sure some poor soul will be selling his/her ticket(s) in the parking lot.

haha. I've got 20/20 vision and couldn't read half of them because they were made-up words with a giant line over them. Wouldn't have mattered anyway I guess. Once you finally are able to decode it, Live Nation sends you directly to their error page.Y-NO-9-O wrote:Same here "There was a problem" for 20 minutes for me and the missus on 2 different computers. The frustrating thing is that people that actually want to go to the show can't get tickets and clearly the people who have no interest in actually going are getting through. They are already selling on TicketsNow for 3x or more the face value. This is certainly not the PH way!

I don't like not knowing if I have a ticket and if I'm doing a road trip to a concert it's a chance I'm not willing to take. I'm not lawn material anymore. At least with TM I was always able to get a single in the first 5-6 rows. This does not bode well for the future shows. Who ever thought we'd MISS the days of TM!Gumbo wrote:No doubt. other than the guy who drove to a box office - has anyone at BN gotten tickets to Charlotte or Raleigh? The two people that had tickets and were completing the transaction ran into internal server errors and lost them. I think we should write to LN and Jimmy's folks about our experience. I am patiently waiting for Charlotte tickets.

After I got the all tickets have been sold message, I logged back in and was able to get 4 lawn seats. What a disaster. In 30 years I have never been so close to not getting tickets. I will never complain about ticketmaster again!

This is the worst thing I've ever seen. When you call it puts you on hold for 30 seconds and says operators are still busy-so it says call back-AND HANGS UP ON YOU.
What a disaster. Boycott LiveNation arenas for any shows you can.
As was said, I hated TicketMaster, but at least something happened.
It appears you also have to have 2 accounts set up with LN to buy.
One for the website and one to buy tickets.
