I wanted to take just the kids and buy regular seats but ... decided PARTY ON THE LAWN this year!
They have all been told they must dress accordingly ! No boring attire aloud !!

Now ... if we could only tailgate ... :x

edit --> need to read more about AJ's ... going back to read the WHOLE thread !

second edit --> ok read the WHOLE thread ... can keets go to AJ's ?? Or because its a "bar" they couldn't?
Just making sure before I add to the head count ... :)

Hey Blonde6ft, my 40th is the May 9th we can have a celebratory drink together on the lawn!

Hi, Joe here; I'm defintiely in. I just don't know how many, but put me down for a total of 4 (including me). By the way, I play guitar too; would love to sing a few if possible (have Taylor will travel...). Do we have a bus lined up to go from AJ's to the Pavillion? Would hate to risk driving after the pre party...glad to see we have a nice headcount starting to build up here...Have a good one...

Alright, we are moving up there. I'm counting 44 +2 keets. Here's what I've got so far.

beachmusic 1
Blondn6ft 6 +2 keets
Caskier 2
finz83 1
joefunalways 4
KeetAtHeart 1
nerdboy 2
NorCal 7
pirateparrot 4 +8
redwinemaker & jeepgirl 2
regalis 1
sd parrot head 1
skrull 1
TropicalTroubador 1
Whitepelican 2

Those in red are estimates that I have made from looking at the thread.

Just a reminder, if you want to be added to a cell list, just PM me your info and an e-mail address to send it to.

As for a bus, would AJ's be OK with us leaving our vehicles in their parking lot for the duration of the concert? Maybe some pholks would be up for a simple carpool to and from AJ's if they have extra seats. Just throwing it out there. I'm gettin' excited!

I will check with AJ's about leaving the cars there during the concert. As for a bus, if there is anyone from closer to that area that knows any companies we can contact about busses that would be great.

Sounds like there are going to be a lot of May babies. I'll be 33 on the 13th, my fiance (who I'm marrying on the 15th) will be 33 on the 17th!!

I may be up to +3 as well but am waiting for confirmation.

Just got an email from AJ's. Those of you who would like to perform, let me know and we'll try to come up with some kind of organized chaos. The place does not have a PA system though so it's all accoustic unless you feel like bringing in your own PA stuff.

Parking cars is okay during the concert in the REAR lot. That's all the details I have so far. Not sure what the street parking situation is. Just be sure to pay attention when you park if you can't get a spot in back. Your car is your responsibility.

Still trying to get info on drink specials but he just says he'll have something, not sure what yet. Probably rum-based.

Again, if you want to play at the bar that day, let me know how long you think you'll want to play, how long your set up and tear down will take and if you have a preferred time(s) you would like to play. And rememeber, there's no PA.

Only 50 days, 4 hours and 46 minutes!

I have a PA, and am happy to bring it. I do this sort of thing all the time.

It takes me 30-45 minutes to set up and approximately the same to knock down. Someone needs to tell us during what time they want the party to run; I'll play whatever portion of that makes sense. I'll also have CDs and other merchandise to sell.

Joe & CASkier: let's take the logistics discussion for the party offline to private email among us & with AJs management; mine is music1@lorendavidson.com. I can also be reached by phone, 510-821-1812.

I think we now have enough pieces to put together a phun party. I would be happy to wiggle a couple of connections to see if some publicity for the party can be generated in other quarters, online and off.

This should be phun!

No official time has been set yet. The place opens at 11:30. I, unfortunately, won't be able to get there until probably at least 3:00. If everyone can, post what time you are hoping to get there and we'll see what the concensus is. We can come up with some official "start" time and those who want to get there early can warm the place up.

Hi All,

I think 2 or 3 would be a good time to start. Anybody can get there earlier if they wish. Did anybody talk to AJ's about have their beer and or alcohol distributer supply give aways and banners. That would be fun. I live about ten minutes away so let me know of any help I can be in setting this up. I'm excited Jimmy so close to home. YEAH

We are doing good. Good to hear from you again. We look forward to seeing you again next month. I think we may spend the night up there after the show, are you doing seats or lawn?

Hey Bob,
I got lucky, seeing how this is my area I was able to score VIP seats with backstage passes and acess to the back stage bar. The seat are within the first 10 rows. There is a best western on Clayton road in the 4400 block I believe. It's only about 3/4 of a mile from the pavillion and right across the street from AJ's where the pre-party is going to be.
