I wanted to take just the kids and buy regular seats but ... decided PARTY ON THE LAWN this year!
They have all been told they must dress accordingly ! No boring attire aloud !!
Now ... if we could only tailgate ...
edit --> need to read more about AJ's ... going back to read the WHOLE thread !
second edit --> ok read the WHOLE thread ... can keets go to AJ's ?? Or because its a "bar" they couldn't?
Just making sure before I add to the head count ...
Hey Blonde6ft, my 40th is the May 9th we can have a celebratory drink together on the lawn!
SWEET !! However ... virgin drink for me ... I'm preggo ! Should be fun sittin' on the lawn like this ... I'll be about 4.5 months along

Yes, it sounds like they are closing on June 1st but that won't affect us. As for some of the poor reviews, they were the first place we could find that was at all welcoming about having a large party there. Unfortunately we don't have time to organize something somewhere else, at least I don't. If someone else does, game on!

Like I just said on the other thread...at least we don't have to worry about whether they'll invite us back or not. But let's be nice anyway - we *do* have the reputation of the Parrothead Nation to honor. We party hard...but we don't trash the place.
And remember to *tip*. The staff is going to be out of work there in a few weeks; let's be extremely nice, gracious, and generous to them. I will make sure to remind you from the stage - they'll like that.
Living my life on Island Standard Time...
Island Standard Time - the new Trop Rock album from Loren Davidson - now available!
Thanks to all who have set this up. Looking forward to event.
We are planning on going to AJ's (4) we will be staying @ the Best Western across the street from Aj's.
Anybody know how far from the concert site we will be from AJ's? Can any tranportation be set up so we don't have to drive back and forth from AJ's. Would like to leave car at there or Hotel.

I heard only 1 1/2 to 2 miles but then we are from Canada.
We are at the BW and will not be taking the car!
It is only about one and a half miles. You could probably find a ride from Aj's and ask somebody on the way out for a ride. I'm pretty sure most parrotheads would be accomadating. I just got my tickets last night from a friend of mine who said he could hook me up with good tickes. Center stage 6 rows back, I can't believe it.
