Jimmy Buffett Tickets Just Released! @ 7pm Raleigh/Charlotte

Post by beachnutz »

Not sure if the is the right place to put this and my apologies if it's not. I just got an email from Live Nation w/ the subject line (Jimmy Buffett Tickets Just Released!) ...and sure enough --logged on to Live Nation and lawn tix for Raleigh came right up. Already got mine; but wanted to pass this on to pholks who may not have gotten their tix this am. Not sure about any other venues, but worth taking a look if you didn't get your tix this am. :D

I got one in section 1, row R for Raleigh a little while ago.

WHY couldn't it have been this smooth this morning and I could've gotten more than three & a half hours sleep while between shifts at work.

I guess that's the difference between high speed and dial-up.
If anyone was able to get tickets today on their dial-up system, they deserve to sit ON the stage during the concert.
(Not to mention having the patience of Jobe).

Garry, even with high speed, I couldn't get in AT ALL this morning. Live Nation just doesn't have their sh*t together yet..... :-? :-?

Were you able to get a ticket at all?
Are you still going to come down?

I feel badly enough because you won't be in Hawaii.

And you're right-it didn't matter if you had dial-up or high speed.
Today was hell on EVERYONE trying for tickets.

SO? See you in Raleigh?

Can't come to Raleigh, but decided to try and if I got in sell the ticket to someone who needed it.

I was in Hawaii not too long ago for work, so at least I got to see it, even without JB.

So I'll see you at Chicago or Alpine. :D

I'm only going to the Hawaii concert at the Shell, not going to Maui.
I want to go to Kauai for a few days while I'm there, so I gave up on the Maui idea.

I tried to get tickets at 10 am when they went on sale. After 20 minutes of error messages or having to wait in a queue, I gave up and left. At 6:00 that night, I figured I'd try again. I went on Live Nation website and pulled up 2 lawn tickets, no problem. I have no idea what is going on, but I've decided that from here on out, I'll either get my tickets on Ticketmaster/Live Nation or not at all. No more scalpers. If I can't get tickets, I'll listen to the show on Radio Margaritaville with my own frozen concoction.

After 20 minutes of error messges I finally got in to the Charlotte ticket page to receive a message that the event was SOLD OUT! I went back a half hour later and got 2 tickets in Section 1 on the 10th row. Something is seriously wrong with their system [smilie=asa.gif]

Shouldn't you be happy with their system? It seems everyone who wanted tickets got them, plus look how good yours are.

What time do the lots open in Raleigh? This is my first time there. How's the lot scene? Is it as good as Camden, Philly, Merriweather, or Nissan?
Thanks

Just checked Live Nation tonight and there are plenty of tickets left for both the lawn and the pavillion.
